Update Definition (DAT) Files

The Virex installer comes with a back-level virus definitions file which needs to be updated. When you start Virex, it automatically connects to the default FTP site and performs the update which may take 3 to 5 minutes to complete. Subsequently, you can update your definitions file via OIT Software downloads at http://osusls.osu.edu/stg2mac.html, or alternatively, by clicking eUpdate to go to the Network Associates, Inc. FTP site.
