Because of licensing restrictions, you'll be connected to a secure sever once you click the download link below. You'll be required to enter your OSU Internet username and password to connect to this server.
Install Cisco VPN Client
Note: As you're downloading the install file, the type of information that appears on your screen varies depending on the browser you're using. After that, you are ready to start the setup. Make sure you have coied the downloaded file into a temporary directory on a local hard drive (e.g., your C: drive). Uninstall any older versions of the software (if an older version is present, the installer will not remove it).
- First close all open windows on your desktop.
- Choose Run in the Start menu.
- click the Browse button
in the "Run" dialog box.
- Go to the subdirectory where you downloaded the install
file and double-click ciscovpn5_0_03.exe.
- A screen appears to extract the install files; click Continue.
- A welcome screen is displayed. click Next> to
continue.
- Read the Software License Agreement that appears. If
you agree with the license, click I accept to
continue with the installation; otherwise click I do not accept to
stop.
- A screen appears displaying the default installation
folder (Cisco Systems\VPN Client). If you want to use a different folder,
type the alternative location in the "Program Folder" box.
- The installation now begins and will proceed to conclusion.
When done, click the Finish button.
- Restart your computer to complete the installation.

Configure Cisco VPN client
Launch the Cisco VPN client. Click to highlight the OSUnet Connection entry, and click the Connect icon. You will be required to enter your OSU Internet username and password to complete the VPN connection.
